[Confused on what a Now page is?](https://nownownow.com/about) updated 260112 --- ### Family My son is starting to walk! It's amazing. Seeing him grow and progress the last year has been the greatest joy I've ever felt. Its also very convenient that I can make meals for all 3 of us and not have to do separate ones. Kayak and I are are cresting 4 years of marriage and its amazing to see how our relationship continues to grow. We are learning more about each other everyday and helping each other into our new parent roles. ### Making #### Woodworking Documenting my projects has become somewhat of a habit on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/matcha.makes/) , my complaints with that platform and the social internet aside, it's been fun. Through that and the Fine Woodworking Discord channel, I've learned a lot of techniques and met many interesting people. I finally finished a few projects that had been kicking around for over a year. I'm not really proud of them, and there is a long way to go before I feel like I can call myself a woodworker. I am however progressing at a decent rate. #### Writing I made a custom little ring binder, to hold my planning documents. It's a test to see if I can use a ringed system and maybe get a Plotter. I am very happy with it, and am using it happily, to the point where I don't think I even want a Plotter anymore. #### 3D Printing I did a few upgrades on my Ender3 including bed leveling, and direct extrusion. It has made the printing setup a lot easier, but still pretty finicky. I have to get around to setting up resin printing, but with the little one mobile, having toxic chemicals around isn't something I'm super keen on. ### Health I've been in and out of the gym. Not really able to stay a consistent schedule, but I'm close to my goal weight! I've felt myself get weaker the last few months, and the mental benefits of working out are absolutely undeniable for me. My lack of sleep is the biggest strain on ability to progress on heavier weights and longer distances. At the start of this year I started trying to run more than just the one day a week. I am not certain if I will do any races this year, but I am thinking about it as a potential. ### Employment I’m currently employed at industrial distributor, and took over the role from someone who had worked at the company longer than I’ve been alive. There are many pain points but also plenty of opportunities for growth and challenge.
